Denver Art classes workshops

Art is for everyone. Adults can get creative in a studio class, chat with local experts, dive deeper with an art-inspired course, use their senses to experience art, or hear from world-class art experts and artists at a lecture. To receive information on new courses and other education programs for adults, sign up for our monthly e-newsletter, Art Mail. To get the latest on Untitled Final Fridays and other adult and college programs, check out the Denver Art Museum Collective. Information about tours can be found on our Public Tours page. See the Related Exhibitions & Events box on this page for current listings.

Try continuing education classes

by ModernGrey

At local Community college, summer workshops at local art schools.
Since you're in the medical profession, cost shouldn't be a factor. Take a sampling of beginning classes: life drawing, acrylic, watercolor and oil painting, maybe a ceramics class to hone your 3D skills. Also try "Mixed Media" which can open up new avenues with respect to the process.
Most painting is about process anyway....might as well explore it.
