London School is the proud home of one of the most comprehensive Nail Technology programs in Western Canada – we are the only school that specializes in Japanese style nail art to this magnitude! Not only do our staff stay current with trends and styles in the industry – they are pushing the envelope and looking to create new and inventive pieces daily. At London School we provide you with the education to go into any facet of the industry – salon/spa work, competitions, touring as a demonstrator, working behind the scenes in photo shoots or runways, or working as product representatives and educators – you name it! Students from London School have taken top prizes in many nail art competitions – including the International Beauty Show World Championship!
After completion of the course, you will be qualified to provide:
- Basic Manicures & Pedicures
- Hot oil & Spa Manicures
- Spa Pedicures & Advanced Pedicures
- Soak-off Gel polish and Advanced applications
- Basic and Advanced polish art
- Artificial Nails (Gel & Acrylic – Tips and Forms)
- 3D Nail art
- Silk & Fibreglass repairs
PROGRAM LENGTH
Our Nail Technology Program takes four months to complete. Classes are 10 to 5, Monday to Thursday.
Our Evening Nail Technology Program takes five months to complete. Classes are 10 to 5 on Monday and 5:30 to 9:30, Tuesday to Thursday.
TUITION AND FEES
$3, 860.00 (payable in four monthly instalments of $965.00)
Equipment is a further $1100.00 (plus taxes).
REQUIREMENTS
All applicants must meet the minimum requirements as stated in our Enrolment and Admissions Policy – it is our intention that all students interested in pursuing a career in hairdressing, aesthetics, barbering, makeup, or nail technology have fair and equal opportunity to be accepted into the relevant course of study. As such, our admissions policy is set out so as to create as few obstacles as possible for prospective students seeking acceptance into our programs. However, there are a few entrance qualifications required by the school and various government authorities that must be in place before the commencement of courses.
ADMISSIONS POLICY:
Applicants must be one of the following:
- 19 years of age or older,
- have grade 12 certification,
- Have the equivalent of high school graduation or completion in their country, province or state of origin.
