Art on location - Instruction
Spectacular architectural views, mountain vistas, and lakeside beauty surround you as you receive one-on-one instruction in Plein Air Painting. Oil painting/watercolor supplies, photo shoot, and priority mailing are all included in this 2 or 3 hour session.
Two Artists...One Canvas
Paint together with our resident artist on a 16x20 canvas. Instruction in oil or watercolor will help you create a lovely composition. All materials are included in this 2 or 3 hour session.
Photography
Enjoy amazing views of The Broadmoor as you learn the art of taking the perfect travel photo. Instruction focuses on lessons such as composition and light and how they relate to each view in this stimulating 2 hour session.
Drawing
Explore a variety of water soluble pencils that dissolve into delicate washes. Lessons in composition, perspective, and contrasting from dark to light are taught in this 2 hour session. All materials and matting are included.

Tuition is $375.00 per day, payable directly to the artist. Professional art supplies for this retreat experience are available upon request. Participants must be guests of The Broadmoor. All skill levels welcome.

Wearable Art
Join Teri for a fully interactive workshop designed to jump-start your creative process. Be prepared to make one-of-kind-jewelry piece(s) and learn techniques to create a look that is as unique as you are.
Teri is a Colorado Springs native and a multi-discipline artist and teacher. Drawing from the beauty that surrounds Colorado Springs, she combines techniques in the making of jewelry, silk painting, textile sculpture, embroidery and other mixed media. Her compositions all come together in contemporary, whimsical and ornamental designs.
Only the finest materials are used including sterling silver, 14kgf or rose-gold-filled wire. Choose from more than 300 different kinds of beads, including Swarovski crystal, fresh water pearls, semi-precious and non-precious stones.
