BozeArts Weekly Summer Camps are for children who will be in 1st through 6th grades in the 2014-2015 school year. Camp runs from 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday through Friday. You also have the option of having your child stay until 5:00pm–just sign them up for the Afternoon Art session immediately following, which starts at 3:30pm. Students must bring a sack lunch! Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. The elements of art and principles of design, art history, cultural connections and art criticism will be taught throughout the camp activities. Weather permitting, many camp activities will take place outside at Bogert Park (which is practically right next door).
Adult Art Classes
All Adult Classes are for beginners or experienced artists age 21 and older, every Monday from 1:00-3:00pm, and Wednesday from 1:00-3:00pm. We also offer a FREE Artist’s Way Creative Cluster on Wednesday mornings at 11:00am. (This cluster is currently closed. Please contact us for more information about when a new cluster will form.) There is no need to make an appointment or register in advance!
We provide stimulating and complete art curricula for Elementary, Middle School, and High School age children. Your child will learn art appreciation, art history, art criticism, the elements of art and principles of design, and hands-on art-making through student-centered projects that they choose according to their interests and preferences in relation to the lessons. Our teachers are certified K-12 art teachers in the state of Montana, and have the education and training necessary to guide your student through a challenging and rewarding art education experience.
We are downtown in the Klare Building, which is the big yellow building directly across Babcock Street from the First Security Bank parking lot.
AcroYoga in Vancouver
Hey, I've been practicing with the AcroYoga community in Vancouver and we're always looking for new people to play with! It's possible that you might have seen us playing this summer at Kits Beach, Trout Lake, or elsewhere, but soon we'll be moving indoors as the rain returns. It's a wonderfully cooperative and playful partner practice, and if you haven't seen it before, I highly suggest you take a look! (search youtube for acroyoga)
From acroyoga.org: "AcroYoga blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community
