NTLP is a program that provides summer courses that identify strong leadership abilities. The weekend camp, which has a diverse culture, inspires teens to learn positive leadership skills and be open-minded about life opportunities. There will be motivational speakers, workshops and group sessions. Your teen will learn about team building and interview techniques. Teens will be taught to challenge life without regrets. For teens that are computer savvy and desire to develop science, technology, engineering and mathematical computer skills, Sac State is the place. Your teen will learn the specialized techniques in designing video games, programming, apps and editing, while using popular name products such as Apple, Google, Microsoft and more. Computer technology is the way of success today, and the skills taught in this program will take your teen to the next level of computer technology. The instructors are undergraduate, graduate and professional teachers, and they are all computer savvy. The ages accepted into this camp are seven to 17.

Have a teen who loves to sketch and oil or water paint? Kerry Van Dyke, a personable artistic teacher, offers a summer camp for teens that teaches the fundamentals of art. The art of painting is a theoretical skill that can be used to create a masterpiece. In this course, your teen will visit various Sacramento scenes like McKinley Park, William Land Park and the Sacramento River to create a uniquely beautiful piece of art. Kerry believes teens do not need to be a glorified artist before attending her classes, but simply have the desire to be creative.
