Andrea has been teaching creative workshops for the past twenty years, since her graduation from the Ontario College of Art & Design. She became intrigued with encaustic in 2001, after taking a workshop at OCAD and then another intensive workshop at the R&F Encaustic School in New York state in 2004.
Andrea loves to teach this wonderful medium, as students enjoy the process of working with wax so much! There is such a sense of spontaneity in the class or workshop, and she is happy to be a part of such creativity. Now with ‘the hive’… thier beautiful school/studio and gallery in the historic Alton Mill ( teaching is better than ever! Buzz by the hive and see! Open Studio times are available for those who have taken a workshop with Andrea in the past… a great way to spend a day or half a day!
