Look at the Continuing Education section for most City Universities of New York (CUNY) because I know they offer art classes for affordable prices. For example, I know Kingsborough Community College has cheap watercolor and ceramic classes if you want to make the long trek out to Brooklyn.
Also, you might want to check the YMCA because I know they have cheap classes on the weekends. In addition, maybe look at some NYC Parks and Recreation Centers to see if they have any art classes for their members. Membership is about $75 a year and you will be able to use their facility and participate in art classes.
How would you like to try martial arts as a work-out for a change. you can try judo. this is nice specially if you have been lifting weights. what a great way to give the strength you gained an application to put it to work. judo is like wrestling with uniform. it teaches you submission grappling.
call the gentleway masters martial arts school at 718-2683191 for free classes.
