Video showing Bridgeview classroom

In 2014 twenty (20!) Bridgeview students were accepted into specialized art high schools in NYC!

Laguardia HS received 9000 applications in 2013 and 600 students were chosen. 10 of these were Bridgeview students who presented quality portfolios, and most important, passed an audition. 11 were accepted to Frank Sinatra, 5 to Art and Design, 1 Murrow. Many have been accepted to several of these schools, so they will have to choose. We congratulate the kids and thank our amazing teachers Polina Osnachuk, Boris Kulikov, Felix Sherman, Galina Dubinskaya and Harout Simonian who worked with these students.

Portfolio Preparation for Specialized Art High Schools.

For students in seventh and eighth grades who plan to apply to specialized art high schools, we provide a special portfolio preparation class. Drawing, painting and design assignments will also prepare students for auditions to these high schools. Bridgeview School has a successful track record with portfolio preparation. Currently, many of our students are enrolled in LaGuardia High School of Visual and Performing Arts, with others going to Bayside, Frank Sinatra and similar schools.

No Cost of living

by MidwestRick

This article appeared in a Las Vegas newspaper talking about Forest Park in St. Louis. Forest Park is located in the center of the St. Louis city limits-sort of like Central Park in NYC.
Compare the amenities mentioned in the article with Golden Gate Park, and compare the prices for admission between Golden Gate Park attractions and Forest Park.
And then, to round out your understanding, realize that St. Louis was settled by disenfranchised Europeans that were shut out of cultural institutions that were only offered to the wealthy elite. To prevent that, as St. Louis was established, the early citizens made a point that many cultural and artistic institutions would be provided to the public in perpetuity at no cost
